Trustpilot is a valuable platform for building trust with potential customers.
There are more steps to gathering Trustpilot reviews than Google reviews, due to the verification process.
With this in mind, we'd recommend understand Trustpilots Automatic Feedback Service (AFS). https://support.trustpilot.com/hc/en-us/articles/213703667
The video below walks you through how to trigger a Trustpilot review using tags, to give you control over who receives these requests.
Automate TrustPilot Review Requests
From your dashboard, select "Automations" from the bar on the left-hand side
Click on "Create Automation"
Click on "Create new automation"
Name your new automation
Change the Trigger Automation type to "Project"
Set the trigger to "Tagged"
Click to add a new condition
In this instance, we are going to set the condition as "The newly-added tag", "equals", "TrustPilot Review".
To set up the Email, click "Add action"
Choose "E-mail Notification"
Choose "Customer e-mail"
Click in the message area to add your text
Add custom variables to your messages from the list on the right
Use this message to explain to your customer that a review link will be coming from TrustPilot. See here for more information on setting this up.
When you are happy with your message, click "Save changes"
If you would like your automation to be active straight away, click to turn it on
Once you are happy with your automation, click save!
