Reviews are a great way to build trust with potential customers.
Google reviews are particularly great as they show on a number of Google platforms that customers search for services, such as Google search & maps.
We recommend triggering review requests with tags, as this will give you control over who you request these from. The video below walks you through an automation set up using tags to trigger a Google review request.
Automate Google Review Requests
From your dashboard, select "Automations" from the bar on the left hand side
Click on "Create Automation"
Click on "Create new automation"
Name your new automation
Change the Trigger Automation type to "Project"
Set the trigger to "Tagged"
Click to add a new condition
In this instance, we are going to set the condition as "The newly-added tag", "equals", "Google Review".
To set up the Email, click "Add action"
Choose "E-mail Notification"
Choose "Customer e-mail"
Click in the message area to add your text
Add custom variables to your messages from the list on the right
Use this message to request your review, making sure you include your Google review link. If you do not know how to find your link, follow the instructions here.
When you are happy with your message, click "Save changes"
If you would like your automation to be active straight away, click to turn it on
Once you are happy with your automation, click save!
