Edit tax rate settings

To get started head over to the company settings section:

To access this from your Dashboard, select your company name in the top right corner, and select "My company"

Create a custom tax rate

Here you can view your tax rates, or create a new one.

Tax rates that use a reverse charge are marked with a grey tick box.

If you want to make a custom tax rate a reverse charge, tick the "Reverse charge" box

Edit tax rate by item

There are two methods for editing your tax rate by item. You can either do this from within the "Items you sell" section or from within a proposal.

From Items you sell

Go to the "Items you sell" section.

Open the item that you want to adjust the tax for.

Choose the tax rate you want to assign to that item.

Your changes will save atomically.

This item will now automatically use the assigned tax rate when added to proposals or invoices.

From a proposal

Open the proposal you want to work on.

Open the item you want to work on by clicking on it. Or, if you want to add a new item, click "create a new item".

In the tax box, click on the dropdown to choose the tax rate you want to use. Changes are saved automatically.
